Arjuna Kapoor’s Ki and Ka film is released in Indian cinemas on April 1, 2016. In the film directed by R Balki, Arjun plays the role of a householder, and his wife is played by Karina Kapoor Khan.

Speaking about the problem of the exchange of roles in the family, Arjun claims that they do not enjoy proper respect for homework in society, and this topic is touched on in his new film:

“A film about a guy who believes that housewives are not respected. If you do not get stability in your personal life through your partner, then you can’t achieve anything in a professional environment … Housewives manage the house and donate a lot, but people forget about it “The guy in the film wants to take care of the house because he believes that women create a house and fulfill their dreams. This is a very emotional problem.”

The actor adds: “The conversation that we started at Ki and Ka has long been held in offices and at home. There is talk of equality. Ki and Ka is a very nice way to say that if you’re talented, then gender doesn’t matter. If a man “confident enough to allow his partner to go to work and express herself, and if he does not have such ambitions as her, he can be a householder. There is nothing wrong with that.”

Arjun understands that the topic of family role sharing can create controversy and affect the film. The actor is ready for an extreme reaction to the film, as he flips the system of a traditional Indian family:

“Women who want to work should be presented with a choice to do it. If you decide to work even after marriage, men should allow it. A woman should decide whether to continue working or not, she should not be forced. I hope that the film will give rise to conversations, I’m sure many people will have an extreme reaction to it, but as long as the conversation continues, that’s good. ”
